A curiosity in the mutability of materials and their changeable behaviours is at the core of his studio practice. 
       
     
 The use of glass draws inspiration from the ancient Venetian glassblowing technique, ‘murrini'. Each of the glass threads used in the work is individually pulled by hand from a furnace.  
       
     
 Harry is interested in applying these traditional skills in alternative directions.
